Favorite Moment:
When Sergeant Bosco convinces everyone the best way to be compatible with someone is to hear the worst thing about them, and all of Linda's speed daters describe their terrible deeds and ailments.
Favorite Quote:
Bob: ... But there are thousands of Grazieldas (porcelain dolls)!
Gene: Stealing our jobs and marrying our women.

My Fuzzy Valentine is the first Valentines Day themed episode. It follows Bob breaking the kids out of school to hunt down a romantic gift for Linda.
He remembers that on his first Valentines Day with Linda, they went to have a romantic picnic, but the car broke down, and they wound up in a bar across from the repair shop. In the bar there was a love testometer, which told them they were red hot.
Bob spends the day going from bar to bar trying to locate the love testometer.

Meanwhile Linda runs the restaurant herself, and arranges some impromptu speed dating, which runs awry after being hijacked by Sergeant Bosco.

Bosco convinces the speed daters that love is only compatible if the other person can stomach the worst the worst thing about the other person.

The episode culminates in Linda almost being arrested, and Bob realizing his memory was of the wrong woman.
One of the best parts about Bob's Burgers is it's depiction of love. Here me out. Bob and Linda are a perfect representation of marriage with children. Their relationship is very realistic. Full of little disappointments, miscommunications, but lots of laughter and silliness.
You don't see that dynamic in other cartoon marriages. Not Family Guy, American Dad, Futurama, or Rick and Morty.

I see a lot of myself in Bob (and Gene) and my wife is similar in a lot of ways to Linda, supportive to no end and quick to make me laugh. She also happens to be editor in chief of this blog... so when you see everything spelled correctly and coherently. That's her.
This burger, like Bob's heart-shaped pancake, is for the wives we don't deserve.

The I Heartichoke You Burger is a garlic stuffed patty covered in sauteed artichoke hearts, tomatoes, and parmesan.

The burger was easy to make. Where I struggled was trying to make some part of it heart shaped. My wife showed me this trick that was in a Martha Stewart magazine.
You use parchment paper cut out like hearts to leave the shape of a heart in the toasting of the buns. Sounds easy enough.

And that ladies and gentelman why the shifty bitch was in jail.
Martha, not my wife.

I was able to get the artichokes into the heart shape using a cookie cutter.

Send this burger in the mail to your loved ones.
Or just watch one of these great Valentine's themed episodes with them:
"Bob, Actually"

"The Gene and Courtney Show"

Or for those who are feeling a bit stung by Cupids arrow... or those who are just tired of shitty dates:
"V for Valentine-detta"

Which is what I love about Bob's Burgers... there is something for everyone to love.
