Episode: Bob Fires The Kids (S3 E3)
Favorite Quote: "I'm ready for a bake off" - Marshmallow
Favorite Moment: Gene chasing a chicken while screaming "I want your nuggets!"

In this episode, Bob realizes he had a horrible childhood because his father always made him work and all of his toys were sad discarded cookware.

Bob decides to fire the kids, and they spend several days trying to have summer fun, but find the pressure to enjoy themselves overwhelming. Unwittingly, the Belcher kids wind up working on a pot farm. Gene and Louise cut the marijuana, and Tina unknowingly delivers false topped blueberry boxes full of weed.

Several of the summer themed burgers make their way into this episode, but what could be a more befitting burger to get my summer body ready?
Little tiny burgers. Because they are itsy bitsy teeny weeny sliders with yellow polka dots (chopped yellow peppers) and grilled zucchini.
Although, today was possibly the least summery day ever, with a lot of rain. But what the hell do I care. I don't really even like summer anyway.

Spent the morning with the fam at the farmers market, which was actually really fun. And I was able to get all of the ingredients except one.

Also snagged some cheese curds, cause why wouldn't I?

Back at home... several hours later... I started making the Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Yellow Polka-dot Zucchini sliders. The burgers are topped with grilled zucchini and a sauce made with yellow peppers, dill, and yogurt.

I chopped up the yellow pepper, with a new method my wife taught. I won't tell you though, cause it's none of your damn business... and I didn't take any pics of how I did it. So...
Then, I sliced up the zucchini. The recipe calls for two... but you really only need one. Then I chopped up the dill and mixed in the yogurt, and set the sauce aside in the fridge while the rest was cooking.

Then, I toasted up the cute little buns... which were basically dinner rolls that I got from the farmers market. The lady told me they were baked this morning. She better not have lied.
Next, I sautéed the zucchini. Really nothing to comment on there.
And made six tiny burgers. I also got the meat from the farmers market. It was 7 dollars. I was mad as hell. But I can't handle awkward confrontation so I just paid 7 dollars for meat I didn't want.

Turns out my weak ass composure paid off, cause the meat was super good! It was fun to make cutesy little burgers with a pun name. I recommend this burger to people with small stomachs and children who like vegetables.
