Episode: Nude Beach ((S3 E13) previously reviewed: see Eggers Can't Be Cheesers)

Episode I've chosen: The Belchies (S2 E1)

Favorite Moment: When Louise befriends a taffy boobytrap

Favorite Quote:

Linda (After sneaking Bob a viagra): How's your penis?

Bob: It's okay.

Gene: Mine's a nightmare in case anyone was wondering!

This episode used to creep me out a little... just because Taff, the taffy giant, freaks me out. Now for some reason, I cannot get enough of it! I have had the song at the end stuck in my head for weeks!

This episode has many excellent one liners and great character development for both Louise and Tina.

Caffery's Taffy factory has been closed for years, and is about to be demolished, but not before the Belcher kids (along with the Pestos and Zeke) break into the building to see if they can find old man Caffery's hidden treasure.

Meanwhile, Bob and Linda plan a romantic night of there own, and spice things up with some viagra and sexy dice. Only when they realize it is too quiet in the house, do they find (via Tina's diary) that the kids have snuck into the taffy factory.

Louise gets separated from the rest of the group when a boobytrap goes off and a giant man made of taffy knocks her down into the bowels of the factory.

Tina comes to the realization that she does not need to be a damsel in distress to win the attention of boys, and delivers this iconic line:

All of them make it out of the factory before it is demolished... but none of them realize that the treasure was buried not in the factory... but in Taff himself.

I was not looking forward to this burger... and decided to get it out of my way. I hate broccoli. Hate the smell, hate the texture, hate how it makes me feel.

At least they look like trees. So that is pretty I guess.

I am trying to make this enjoyable for myself.

This burger is topped with tomato, artichoke hearts, broccoli, and baked feta. I steamed the broccoli. Which was as interesting as it sounds, and sautéed the steamed broccoli with artichoke hearts.

Meanwhile, I drizzled olive oil all over the feta and baked it for about 20 minutes, and broiled it for another 10.

The baked feta tasted amazing!

Overall the burger was much better than I thought it would be. Will I be baking feta again? Absolutely.

Will I intentionally make broccoli again?

Fat chance in hell.
